What is a Demat account?
A Demat (dematerialised) account holds your securities — stocks, bonds, mutual funds and more — in electronic form instead of physical certificates. It is required to buy, sell or transfer shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), and is fully regulated by SEBON and CDSC.
