BOID registration, secure and simplified
We help you obtain your Beneficiary Owner Identification (BOID) — essential for holding shares in a Demat account in Nepal, whether you receive them through IPO allotments, market trades or corporate actions.
What is a BOID?
A BOID is a 16-digit unique number issued by CDS and Clearing Ltd. (CDSC) when you open a Demat account through a registered Depository Participant (DP) like Trishakti Securities. You need it to hold shares electronically and to trade on NEPSE.
Benefits
- Simple share management — deposit, transfer and manage shares electronically.
- Secure storage — no risk of losing or damaging physical certificates.
- Market access — a valid BOID is required to buy and sell through TMS.
- Regulatory compliance — registration follows SEBON and CDSC guidelines.
- Timely notifications — alerts on share transfers, IPO allotments, bonus issues and other corporate actions.
How to register
- Fill the Demat account form with your personal and contact details.
- Submit KYC documents — citizenship certificate, passport-size photo and address proof.
- Verification and processing — we verify your documents and submit your application to CDSC.
- Receive your BOID — once approved, your 16-digit BOID is issued.
